3 Fun Ways to Celebrate Australia Day 2016

Australia Day is a time for fun, friends, family, and being thankful for all the great things about this country.

There are lots of ways to celebrate Australia Day outside in the glorious summer weather, including hosting pool parties, taking a trip to the beach, or simply having a barbecue and some games in the backyard.

Here are 3 fun ways you can celebrate Australia Day 2016 with your family and friends.

1 – Pool Parties

What could be better on a scorching summer’s day than a dip in the pool? A dip with the splashing adventure of pool toys, that’s what! All kinds of colourful and inflatable toys are available to liven up your swimming pool for both kids and adults.

Dive streamers are great pool toys for getting competitive, seeing how many you can snatch up in a single dive. Start an aqua hockey tournament with your friends, and if you really want to go big, an inflatable pool slide will have the kids bouncing and sliding into the water for hours.

2 – Beach Fun

Sun, sand and surf are a winning combination any day of the year, so why not spend your Australia day having an awesome time at the beach? While you’re at it, bring a picnic so you don’t have to miss out on your traditional Australia Day feed.

There are a ton of beach toys to help you get the most from your big day out. Aussie flying disks and footballs will help you work up an appetite for lunch, and when you want to head into the surf, an Aussie Wave Tube will have you tearing through the water.

3 – Backyard Games

Of course, you may not even want to hit the beach when you can have an amazing Australia Day right in your own backyard. With the right backyard toys, everyone will have a fun and relaxing afternoon.

Smash out some runs with a cricket set, and then use a backyard water slide to travel between the wickets! And if you really want to show of your Australian pride, Aussie Footy and Aussie Soccer balls bear our national colours.
